I have been trying to remove and replace the cabin air filter on my 2017 JK. After removing the glove box, I see the plastic grate over the filter area. I can't get it out due to the speaker housing blocking the right half of the grate. Any clue how to get that off? I would rather not cut...

looks like you found the elusive low blinker fluid detector connector. Just attach it to the doomiflatchy outlet and you should be good to go.

I have dealt with those type fasteners during my career. I am surprised that Jeep thought these cheapies would last. I guess if they get through the warranty period, it would be no problem for the company. Thanks for the info. I know now what I am faced with and can plan accordingly.

Have been hearing a strange rattle/grinding noise from the rear of my 2017 jk. Found the heat shield above the muffler is loose and hanging on from one end and it's hitting the muffler. Any thoughts on how to access it to reattach it without removing the muffler?. Can't really see what holds...
