    Hyper flashing turn signal

You could have had a ground wire come loose, so worth going through those and confirming good connections (soldering and shrink wrap is my preferred method), though it seems like potentially one of the diodes and/or resistors in the resistor-pack has failed.

    Hi all

Bright Silver Jeeps unit!! (though mine is a 4 door) The 5100's are great for on-road driving and moderate trails. They have faster valving than others, favoring a more planted on-road driving experience at the expense of softness off-road. That said, they are still quite good for off-roading...

Lift Kit- did I get bamboozled?

Those springs fit many different Jeep models. On a JKU, they're supposed to net ~3.5", though 4"+ isn't uncommon if your OEM springs were a little saggy. I'm not sure what tire size you intend to run, but you can comfortably fit 35" tires on 2-2.5" of lift. Any more than that and you will have...

Brake booster performance code after replacing booster

Clogged booster vacuum hose or broken nipple at the intake manifold possibly?

The Crna Utra JKU from Aus

Another member just had a similar PCM related issue... https://wranglerjkforum.net/threads/the-battle-against-the-dreaded-p0300.32764/#post-472970 I wonder if these early year JK's are experiencing failures like the 05-06 TJ's were.

How about 56k for this JK?

Nah, not at that price... wheels are awful, 545RFE blows (even with a Hemi), and there's a lot of Chinesium parts (e.g. bumpers)

Would you pay 60k for this JK?

I love buying projects but I am vert particular about them... you can usually tell pretty quick about someone's ability to do a "big" project. A lot of times, many legit builders simply get "tired" or bored of a project and you can scoop up a killer deal. A lot of V8 JK's fall into this...

2008 JKU "Argenta" Build Thread (plus a 2010 Islander side project)

Had a busy Easter weekend - the family took a road trip to D.C. to catch the Cherry Blossoms and explore around. It was quite the adventure and we packed a lot in: Goddard NASA Space Flight Center, Arlington National Cemetery (caught the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider...

2008 JKU "Argenta" Build Thread (plus a 2010 Islander side project)

I gave up on the idea of keeping the OEM radiator - that outlet was never going to work for me. So, as much as I despise the thought of an aluminum radiator, I ordered the Northern made one meant for the Hemi swap. These have the best track record and I used new bushings that should help with...

JKU Hemi Swap - Reference Guide & Swap Info

Radiator Hose Fitment There was no way I was going to clear the alternator with the OEM radiator outlet, so I sucked it up and ordered the Northern Hemi swap one. It's MUCH heavier than other similarly sized aluminum radiators that I've worked with, so hopefully that's indicative of better...

Would you pay 60k for this JK?

A fairly clean build, but $60k for something on factory axles and a V6 is silly... you can find much more functional and/or niche specific builds for less than that.

BFG KM3 MT vs. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT

A lot will depend on the rocks you're climbing too... loose, volcanic rock like what you would get in Johnson Valley is vastly different than the smooth, but grippy fine-grained sandstone "slickrock" of Moab. Pats have done better in sandstone thanks to their well-known soft compound. It's for...

BFG KM3 MT vs. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT

Pats are not stickies, but on dry rocks, they work damn well, especially considering their price point... For me, I'm going with the MT Baja Boss M/Ts when I finish the Hemi swap. I've not been impressed by others' reports of BFG durability and grip as of late. On the other hand, everyone I...

    Broken ground stud

I think the studs are spot-welded to the panel, so they may be hard to replace (at least the ones on the firewall and inner fenders are). You can drill a hole and use a nut+bolt. Another alternative would be to drill out and replace the stud with a nutsert. You will want to run a ground strap...

What did you do to your JK today?

Ahh, that makes more sense :) The backing plates are a bit of a pain in the a$$ since you have to remove the axle shafts and HOPE that you don't mess the seal up on removal, but if they're in good shape now, new cables and e-brake lever are a good idea if the shoes are in otherwise good condition.
