You were pulled over for an EMPTY gun rack?? I thought Canada was a hunter's paradise. I was planning on keeping an AR-15 in that rack at all times! :p

Has anyone out there built a DIY overhead gun rack for their JK? I was thinking something along the lines of the QuickDraw system in the attached photo.

I've got 35s on mine and bought the Superchips basic specifically to recalibrate for the larger diameter tires. Worked great and very simple to use. Without recalibrating, the speedometer, mileage calculator, and transmission are getting false speed data. Your shift points will be all screwed...

I think it may have been your advice I was following when I tried that!! :) I wonder why they felt the need to include those bolts in the first place....

I had leaking issues at both B pillars. I kept tightening the big hand bolts in the sport bar to no avail. Counterintuitively, I removed them completely and the leaking stopped. Also, recommend taking everything off and cleaning the surfaces thoroughly. Make sure to properly seat the freedom...

I don't have a workaround for you. IF YOU DO get in there, I recommend changing spark plugs, and replacing the entire oil cooler assembly. It comes with oil sensors already attached. The oil cooler can leak oil and coolant. I've been down there 3 times for these repairs and wish I had done them...

I believe you, but I had a heck of a time spotting that leak visually until I had the upper & lower intake manifolds off. May have just take a bad angle, though. Was very relieved to have solved the smell mystery, though! Another thing to look for is white streaks down the transmission bell...

I had the coolant smell and minor coolant loss. No visible leak. I tracked it to the oil cooler, which has coolant running through it. Any small leaks there accumulate in the valley of the V6 and burn off or evaporate slowly. See Pictures below.
