Tires for wet traction.... especially with no ABS

It's a 2013 Rubican Unlimited. The company that makes the module went out of business. Some ABS part numbers you get now, some you can't. I think the part numbers might vary within model year too. I've talked to 2 dealers and also a Jeep specialty shop. They all told me March-June 2024 at the...

Can bad ABS unit cause wheel speed sensor code 1035?

I realize that a bad wheel speed sensor sensor will cause the ABS lights. I've had to replace several of them on this Jeep. If there are 2 issues then I'm just wanting to make it so it's just an ABS module replacement is the only thing the dealer needs to do without them having to troubleshoot...

Can bad ABS unit cause wheel speed sensor code 1035?

I have a 2013 JK that has been giving code C2200 for quite a while now. It needs a new ABS control module and that part is on hold until at least March, 2024... but most likely longer than that from what I've been told.... uhggg Anyway, the Jeep was only giving code C2200 for months. However...

Tires for wet traction.... especially with no ABS

OK, ended up ordering Falken AT3W. Those seemed to have decent reviews for wet traction. I really wish Chrysler would get it together with their ABS module shortage though. Having to wait over a year for a part is absurd, especially something kind of important such as ABS. Not to mention the...

Tires for wet traction.... especially with no ABS

I need to get new tires and live in South Florida where the rain can come down hard. I have no ABS for the forseeable future because I need a new ABS unit which are on hold until at least March of 2024 for the part # mine needs. I don't even count on that either because it got pushed back...

How far to insert dipstick to check transmission fluid level?

This is probably a dumb question but how far should the dipstick be inserted to check the transmission fluid level? Should it be inserted just so it latches into the "normal" position? Or should it be pressed down further as far as it will go? It can be pressed in 1/4" or so beyond the normal...

Safe to jack up transfer case 1 inch or so?

Thanks. I was able to jack it up and change the pan. Also found there are 3 mounting bolts for the transmission support to the cross member that need to be removed first to free it up.

Safe to jack up transfer case 1 inch or so?

Is it safe to jack up the transfer case by an inch or so? If so, anything I need to loosen or watch out for? I'm trying to change the transmission fluid in a 2013 JK. I got the pan dropped but there isn't enough clearance to pull out the pan because of the filter and not being able to drop the...
