I bought some custom lettering from Amazon (private vendor), and after 2 years, the adhesive is losing its grip and the letters are peeling. I don' t mind getting some new letters, but I don't want to have to do this every 2 years. Does anyone have recommendations for a good source with good letters?

You're going to want to look for a vendor who has High-performance cast vinyl. You'll get 8-10 years out of this. 3M is a good choice. Oracal 651 is also good. You'll get about 6-8 years out of it. Try and stay away from calendered vinyl, which is what I'm assuming you bought. Propper prepping of the area is also a must.

I have heard nothing but good things about Signville in Texas with regards to replication and modification/enhancement of factory decals. Mainly for SuperDuty related stuff, but they may be able to help with JK decals if they have access to the files or can scan them. Or if you want to replicate the font for your own custom lettering, etc:
