P2122 code 2011 wrangler

I have a 2011 jeep wrangler with 96k miles. I started getting this p2122 error code, red lightning bolt flashing and accelerator pedal going into limp mode. I replaced the accelerator pedal/sensor with a Mopar OEM part from Mopar OEM parts outlet. Not long after the error came back. This is intermittent. I could drive a couple hundred miles or more before the problem returns. I took it a mechanic and they said it's the accelerator pedal, I must have got a bad one. Hum
New battery, did the accelerator pedal re-learn process a number of times.
Has anyone ran into this problem and found a solution? Any help is appreciated.
 
The accelerator pedal reset fixed mine, maybe try cleaning your engine grounds and put some HD battery clamps on.

Thread 'Throttle body reset procedure'

Step 1: Turn the Jeep to the "on" position but not the engine running position.
Step 2: Wait for all of the dummy lights to turn off (check engine light will stay on).
Step 3: Depress the accelerator REALLY slowly...Driving Miss Daisy with a touch of Cocoon slowly...all the way to the floor.
Step 4: Release the accelerator at the same excruciatingly slow rate.
Step 5: Turn Jeep off.
Step 6: Start engine.
Step 7: Take it on a test drive.

I found that if it doesn't work doing this slowly then try doing it again a little faster. It took doing this 2 different times in order to fix my...

I put a Viper TB on and then 2 times after that I got the lightening bolt. I searched for a fix and found the TB reset and after doing it the 2nd time it worked and that was about 6 years ago.
 
I was always under the impression that Viper mod did absolutely nothing like CAIs.
