I'm giving away one hardtop and set of Freedom Panels removed from a 2013 2DR. The hardtop has the wide rear window and the freedom panels have the offset front latch. The top and freedom panels appear to be structurally sound, and the freedom panels include all the hardware, including the two bolts that hold the rear of the freedom panels down. It's the '11 to '18 style top. The top is a direct fit for '09 to '17 Wranglers and the '18 JK, and will fit with modification to the Wrangler on an '07 or '08.
The hardtop and freedom panels are finished in a black texture finish that has been applied over the factory splatter finish. The texture finish runs when it gets wet, and the white of the fiberglass is visible in several areas, including the areas where both layers of the finish are peeling off. The finish on the freedom panels is for some reason darker than the main top The inside of the hardtop and freedom panels are filthy but uncracked. The driver's side freedom panel has the text "hardtop is for weather protection" label on it. The window glass is the light tint (Clear) glass. The side windows are in decent condition, but the rear window is all marked up and the defroster may not work, and the rear window only stays up if the top is on it's front end, as the struts are bad. The wiper and washer work, though it's missing the jet and arm cover, so it sprays straight back. It may need a new vehicle to top washer tube fitting. The top seals appear to be in good condition. Includes the five of the top to tub bolts that I got with the Jeep, as it was secured with plastic headed thumbscrews.
It's maybe the ugliest hardtop in the world, but it's free. It's good for those who want a cheap hard top, or an interesting conversation piece, or a good restoration candidate.
Local Pickup only. PM for pickup location and instructions. Must be gone before Monday, unless other arrangements have to be made, as we really want it gone. The top itself is about 50" wide at it's longest point, including the wiper arm and hinges, about 63.75" wide, and about 26.5" high. It's a little bit heavier than the stock finished top, though two people can still pick it up. More pictures are available.
