I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK and t's been in my garage since about mid June of 2023. Early in June I had it serviced for a rear relay sensor on a rear tire the day after I had my tires rotated. A few days later I had three lights light up -BRAKE, ABS, and the traction control. I took it to service at the dealership, and they told me it's the ABS module, however the part is not available until March 2024. Anyone else experiencing this with their jeep? Any other alternatives to getting this fixed.

If it was mine i'd take it somewhere else and have the Code checked, a wheel speed sensor can also do the same thing. I've had all those lights on for about 3 years now and still drive it all the time.

I took it to another garage to get a second opinion, code come out as the same thing. It makes a strange sound when driven. I was told by the second garage that if I drive it and hard break, the wheels will lock. So I don't drive it to be safe.

I've similar issues with my jeep and those 3 lights. I found that the traction control would inadvertently come on when I was trying to leave from a dead stop. It sounded like something was grabbing my tire. In my case it was the wheel sensor. Because most parts are on back order l have to wait but decided to remove the fuse that controls those functions. Jeep runs fine

Just what I think if the ABS Module can't work then it can't cause a problem. The only thing the ABS does is give you the pulsating pedal.

When your ABS module is not working, you're basically just traveling back to a time before ABS. As in, most of automotive history. How often do you really stand on your brakes? I honestly don't think I do it even once a year.
For normal braking, your ABS does nothing. You're perfectly fine without it. On the rare occasion that you really plant your foot, all that happens is your brakes lock up and the tires stop rotating. It takes about 14% longer to stop on a dry surface. You can mitigate this by controlling how much pressure you put on the brake pedal.
Yes, ABS is a bit safer. But driving without it while waiting for parts is not the end of the world.
