Having trouble with the brackets, they probably need to be filed down but any one have any experience on installing fog lights on the steel bumper the hardrock has?

Are you certain these fog lights are meant for the Hard Rock bumper? I ask because I went through a similar experience with fog lights and found that the Hard Rock bumpers require different mounting brackets than the non-Hard Rock bumpers.

Yeah, they're the correct ones for the hardrock, only thing where the bracket connects to the light ensemble, it looks like the bolt is just a tad 'big' thought about returning but filing down would be quicker.

Also wanted how others connected the halo wires.

I would probably just file them down in that case, like you said, easier than returning.

You can connect the halo wires to the running light wires for turn signals. That way when you turn on the running lights, the halos will come on. Very easy to find which wire you need to tap into with a test light.
