Should Jeep Wranglers wave to Gladiators?

Hell NO and let's not confuse people here.

Waves are just for "Wranglers Comradery" and never was for the other models such as; the Cherokees, Compass, Commander, Wagoneer, the Patriots, new Renegades, Liberty, Grand Cherokee or the Gladiators, Jeepneys and/or Roxors alike.

It should be exclusively just for the Wrangler Enthusiasts only.

Call me an asshole, but I don't wave to anyone unless they wave to me first. I don't care if anyone doesn't wave to me either, I simply have more important things to concern myself with ;)

That being said, I don't want to put much thought into this, but if someone wants to wave to me, I'll wave back, even if they are driving a Honda Civic :ROFLMAO:

There are so many Jeeps on the road, it's not like the olden days. And how do you know it's a gladiator when it is coming at you?

Don
Come on, they have slanted eyes and you can see it even at night!

I dunno. Before there were Wranglers, there were CJ's. In that family was the CJ-8/Scrambler. The Gladiator was Fiat's attempt to bring that back, I suppose. Like all new Wranglers, they've missed the mark and they're getting further and further from what a 'Jeep' was. It seems to sell, so good for them I guess. I feel the TJ was the last of the breed and even it was pushing things!

All that being said...... I wave to them. They're of the 'family' after all. Renegades, etc.... no thanks!

I agree with the last breed.

The renegades? I had one for a year and it's gay.

I have a Renegade besides the Wrangler, I see nothing wrong with it. It will not go into some places the Wrangler will go since it is not the Trailhawk version, but it still gets me from point A to point B. I did put some Toyo Celcius tires on it as the OEM were so lame and soft it frankly felt like I was in a boat because of the floating effect of the tires.

Research the Celcius and you will see why I decided on them. They are great year-round hybrid tires for winter when it throws the unexpected.

I just don't like the auto transmission always hesitant trying to figure out shifting itself on which gear is appropriate into what speed I am at - all the time. As a result the rpm is allover the place.

Worst is I had 5 module flush visits to the dealership in my first 6 month of ownership. The next 6 month, I drove it around to look searching for a JK.

They call it a Jeep Renegade (the iconic Renegade) ugh; I think a TJ got drunk in a bar one night and made out with a Fiat Panda and here comes junior :)

Now the Gladiator: Taco one night stand with JKU and here comes junior?

Wave at me, I’ll wave back. I’ll even give a wave to lifted or rugged looking Cherokees. Why not, they’re Jeep fam too.

Caveat; I’ve found myself waving less and waiting for others to initiate it first, because there’s just too many soccer mom’s and none-Jeep culture people in newer Jeeps.

I once read that the newer model generation of Jeeper should initiate the wave. Meaning, if it’s a newer model, that driver should initiate.

It’s up for debate but end of day, do what you think is right.
