Wrangler JKU 2014 3.6 v6 4door hardtop. I had a small leak in the radiator, made it overheat on the hwy but stopped when topping off the coolant. was loosing coolant slowly.

Took it in and was advised to replace the radiator, thermostat and for a system flush. after that was done the jeep was still over heating on hwy speeds,

the mechanic advised to replace the water pump, still overheating on hwy speeds

any ideas?

Did the mechanic properly burp the cooling system by raising the front of the Jeep up about 6"?

I was told it was burped properly - don't know for sure.
I keep arriving at (maybe it's the heat core) argument on forums. what about the heat core?

A air pocket can get trapped anywhere that's why you need the front up high , cap off and idling. Then add coolant why it drops down if it does.

Also the cooling fans won't properly cool if they aren't going into high speed.
