Tire size alone won’t change the geometry of drive shafts and such, however it will affect speedometer, fuel mileage, and demand on the motor/trans. Also, ANY lift change to your Jeep WILL AFFECT the geometry of the drive shafts and cause early wear. I lifted mine 2.5 inches and the front drive shaft cv joint at the transfer case went quickly. I recommend having a new shaft made/installed with a double “U joint” where it connects to the transfer case. I’m getting a heavy duty shaft made (about $850) and installing myself. For years I never lifted a vehicle and everyone told me the same thing about “below 3” lifts won’t do anything to any parts.” I recommend you get the heavier shaft even if you only lift 2”.
