I have a 2015 JK Wrangler with a 2 and 1/2 inch Rough country Spring lyft. It has hwin in 3/4 inch wheel spacers. Will this size tire fit without rubbing

Hmm.. wheel spacers. I know people don't necessarily have any problems with them, but to me it's adding complexity to a place you shouldn't have any. In order to check for tightness you have to remove the tires.

Anyway to your point. Are you talking the stock 16 inch wheels? I would be hesitant about them. I'm not sure what the back spacing is on those, and with is possibly too thin, and with adding almost 35" tires you would not be able to upgrade the brakes at all.

Generally, JKs get run with 17" wheels. Better selection of tires for a better price. More options for upgrading brakes.

If you are buying 16 wheels to put on, some of them are not going to be the right bolt pattern. A number of sites mess this up when you filter the results and show both earlier TJ / YJ wheels mixed with JK ones. They do not have the same bolt pattern.

I should clarify that I'm not talking the rubbing on the up and down but the rubbing on inside of the tires or when you turn. on stock wheels I couldn't even put 285 70 17s on the vehicle.

As to the height of the lift that will have to be someone else's response.

Its funny, I just posted a comment about the exact thing. I just put those exact tires on my 2013 JK and yes they rub. I put in a 2.5 inch lift and it rubs. Before I added the 2.5 inch lift, everything a read said that it would handle the 315 without rubbing, but I will need some spacers for sure
