I bought a jeep and to my surprise opening the soft top some wires showing. What cover am I missing and where can I find one? I bought it through Vroom and I doubt they even knew about it. I have talked to them but should they ask about what is missing, I'd like to tell them specifically should they want to replace it, otherwise I'll be doing it. Also what lug nut locks brands do you recommend?

You aren't missing a piece at all, that's how it's supposed to be.
Shouldn't that wire be covered? I'd think between the rain and sun that wire would dry rot and fall off leaving the wire exposed. Weird how jeep didn't think of this.

I think you'd have more to worry about then the wire dry rotting if you was leaving your top off when it was raining. You could always get some wire loom and cover the wire to protect it from the sun.

You would think so, but apparently it wasn't a concern to Jeep.

Though I will tell you, if you have rain falling in your Jeep while the top is down, you're going to have way more problems than just that speaker wiring, believe me.

Leave the top down in some heavy rain and then try to start your Jeep up the next day ;)
