What is this storage tray on the dash right above the radio?

Hello, So i've been wondering what this thing is on my dash, right above my radio. i've looked online everywhere to figure out what it is or if its involved in the package the vehicle came with or if its aftermarket. if you could help me out figuring out this things purpose besides me storing junk in it, that'd be awesome lol. thanks in advance.

@Chris Seems like they aren't used very much this day or for sale atleast lol. I'm not sure if you would know if there is any other gps that is compatible with the docking unit?

Yes, I never see them for sale, they are pretty rare to come by. You wouldn't want one anyways, as the technology by now is outdated.

There isn't another GPS unit compatible with that docking unit unfortunately. What you have there is basically a technological brick at this point.
