Well, although we do drive Jeeps, I try to take care of mine and keep it in nice shape. I live on a golf course and last week someone sliced a ball and it nailed my hood. Got a quote to remove it out of curiosity and they said $350. I laughed.

A nice trick however is to use ice. You have to get the metal blazing hot and then apply a ice cube. Slowly, but surely it pulled out my dent.

The original dent was so deep I could set a golf ball in it and it wouldn’t roll off the hood. Now, I have to really look hard to find it (and I’ll still try again once it gets super hot again).

Just a tip.

Wow, that's a trick I never knew about.

I recently paid a paintless dent removal guy $200 to remove 4 dents from my Jeep. All minor ones on the hood, but nonetheless.

When my dad said give it a try, I scoffed at him. ”That will never work” I thought, it’s just ice. To my surprise, it did wonders.
Now that may be because my dent was the right size, just big enough to not really tweak the metal into a hard bend, but just small enough to not require any real body work.

Very hot water followed by very cold water. Watch what this guy does with a teapot of boiling water followed by ice water on the rear quarter panel of an Expedition.

Okay, it is not blazing hot as it was previously mentioned. I thought he torched the metal with blazing fire.
