Hi all,

I just noticed some water dripping about the center of my 2015 JK. It's dripping somewhat quick, like 1 drop every 3 seconds. No overheating or warning lights and it's not a leaky diff. Doesn't smell or appear oily. Not sure what I should look at to rules more things out. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Check out my post, I think you are seeing the same thing I am. The conclusion I have come to is this is normal and part of the condensation run off of the coolant system. Every A/C system has to shed the condensation.

I had distilled water and a chemical flush in my system when I made my post but have since finished the flushing project and re-filled with coolant. Now that it has coolant back in there, I still get the dripping but, it's just water which led me to the conclusion of it being the shedding of condensation.

On a side note (not that you are asking) but, for anybody who is reading this and saw my original post, it turns out my issue was the heater core. Luckily for me the chemical flush + reversing the hoses for a constant back flush worked and the heat now works great. Everything is back to the original hose configuraton and new coolant added. Crossing my fingers we get at least one winter out of the effort.
