With the pan gasket sticking out like that it catches the oil. Reactions: mrjp and Lxxtsy

Right under the crankshaft seal, it looks real oily there to me from the pictures. Shine a flashlight up behind the engine balancer and see what it looks like.

I have one sitting and ready for my next oil change. I agree with others here, clean higher and check a few days later. Reactions: mrjp
