Jeep has hot oil ind. and check engine light on, will not shift and displays dTC code u0101-loss of communication with tcm. Went through the usual relay check-all good. Checked voltage at tcm connector- main power and ground good both can network wires receiving signal. With the scanner I can access all special functions in all other modules except the tcm. After my diagnostic I’m leaning toward it being a possible bad tcm. is there any way to check if it’s still working? Or reconnect network signal? Or has anyone seen problems similar to these? Any advise thanks in advance!

I would first check the battery clamps and cable ends to make sure they are clean and tight. Some place in the circuit is a ground terminal check it to make sure it's clean.
Any harness connectors that are for the TCM check them for corroded pins in the connectors. Look for wires that could be broken or the covering worn off and the wires are shorting out.

This is the perfect reason I went with a manual trans.
