Trussed front axle

Pulled the front axle on my 2010 JKU rubicon to truss. Painted it today, will reinstall it tomorrow for Sunday trail ride.

What was the reason for the truss? What size tires are you running? 40s or larger I would assume.

Mainly peace of mind Chris, I am running stock size tires, but running more A level trails. For about $200, it allows me to do whatever trail that I can handle without worries.

I gotcha! Though you'd be hard pressed to bend a stock axle housing on stock tires without a truss.

I've wheeled the living piss out of mine on some of gnarly ass rocks with 35s and never even come close to bending an axle housing. But if it gives you the peace of mind, that's all that matters!
