Transmission Fluid level too high?

Hello all, hope everyone is having a great week. A few months ago (Late December) I had the transmission lines replaced after there was a leak that ruptured.

Today I went to check the transmission fluid level in preparation for a cross country road trip in a couple weeks and it seems high and I am wondering if they overfilled the fluid level.

I consulted the manual, and used the methodology described there. Used a level to find an even parking spot (not easy where I live lol). Warmed the engine up for 10+ minutes, drove it around (also doing a coolant flush so it was well warmed up) etc. Cycled through each gear while parking brake is engaged. Left idling while going to check. Pulled out dipstick, wiped clean, and re-set it all the way before pulling out to check again.

Every time I have checked the fluid (4 or 5 times), it has been way above the hot level. It is hard to see on the inserted picture but I drew a red line where the level comes to. Would this possibly be from the dipstick housing or should I remove a half quart and re-test? Want to make sure the level is correct before hitting the road for a long trip.

Thank you for any help :)

Are you checking the fluid when it's in Park or Neutral?

I don't own a Jeep with a Auto so I don't know if they get checked in Neutral like the older Chrysler transmissions or not.
