Been fighting with some wheel shimmy and death wobble. I found wear in the drag link and track bar so those were replaced and a tie rod recently as well. Still not right and when inspecting for moving parts see the track bar axle mount has movement. I’ve upgraded the control arm and track bar frame mount bolts to 9/16 but because of the steering stabilizer relocation to track bar axle bolt that wasn’t replaced. I ordered another relocation bolt in case there is wear (haven’t taken it apart yet just getting ready). But I measured it tonight and it’s 1/2 inch to the track bar not 9/16. So that is just about the movement I can see. So if track bar bushing is 9/16 why does the mount bolt come 1/2? What are my options to keep steering stabilizer relocation but get to a 9/16 mount bolt?
