I bought my Jeep in October 2023, so I am still a little new to the scene. When I bought it, it had and still has 37s, but I noticed when I opened the tailgate it sagged. I just thought it was because of the weight of the tires, but eventually I took off the spare tire because it was making it worse. Now even with the spare tire off, if I open my tailgate it goes straight down and hits the bumper. I have been looking at replacement hinges or possibly DIY ones to save cost, but I am not sure what the best ones are that will fix my problem. I also want to run a spare tire, but that means I need to fix the hinges and find a tire carrier that will support the weight. Hopefully soon I will downsize to 35s and it'll be a little less weight. But until then I need help figuring out what to do. If anyone can help it will be appreciated.
