I have 07 wrangler and having issues with the traction control randomly engaging in curves. It’s not throwing a code. Replaced everything that deals with death wobble. The dealership was no help. Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue, it has been lifted but not sure how much.

Yes, the dealer said I needed to shut off the esp system for some reason it’s randomly thinking I’m sliding going into a curve. I’m a new jeep owner so just learning the in’s and outs

Do you have some play in the steering wheel that your moving it back and forth to keep going straight?

Yes, but the previous owner had the steering box replaced, ball joints , stabilizer bar tie rods. But does the steering box have adjustments?

Yes. There should be an adjustment screw with a jam nut on the steering box to make your adjustments. Loosen the jam nut. Then you're only going to want to do an 1/8th of a turn of the adjustment screw at a time. After each turn, tighten the jam nut and test your steering. Remember, a little goes a long way.

Like JeepJeezy said if you have play in the steering wheel then the traction control thinks the Jeep is like fishtailing and it has the ESP do it's thing.

Test the steering with the engine not running by having someone turn the wheel back and forth just enough to when the steering starts to get tight. Then look at the wheel to see when it starts to move, if there's over a 1" of excess movement that's to much. Get under the Jeep and do the same and look to see where the play is at, could be the steering box, tie rods, drag link, or track bar.
