Hey all,

Looking to give my 09 Rubicon a bit of a lift. I've heard that lifting beyond 2 inches will alter the factory ride, and I'm not going for anything too crazy at the moment. I'd love to get a 1 3/4 to 2 inch lift on the jeep and eliminate the factory rake on it as well. I've been looking at leveling kits since they seem to use spacers to accomplish exactly what I want, but I wanted to know if there were any long term downsides to running spacers over a 'normal' lift kit. Any help would be very appreciated!

For context, my jeep is an 09 Rubicon stock suspension at the moment, and the kits I'm looking at are below:

Thanks for the help!

If it was mine i'd just put a leveling lift on the front if your not really wanting it lifted. My Jeep had a cheap 4" lift and rode terrible so I found some stock springs and put them on. If you look to see what the tag numbers are on the front springs you might be able to get some factory springs that will level it.

As I mentioned in your other thread, go with a 2" or 2.5" suspension lift. You'll be much happier with the results.

I recommend AEV personally, it's a great lift for the money that will ride better than stock.
