[QUOTE="Moab, post: 462495, member: 25366"] I'm 6'3" 250. But sleep on my back. Taking a 1-2 week trip. Not off road. Considering an air mattress in the back. But really just for this trip. And maybe a couple weekend trips. So I don't really feel like I need an expensive long lasting one. Has anyone ever used one? How flat is the bottom of the Jeep with the seats down? Should I consider additional support? Like something flat (plywood?) To go under my torso? I'm also going to have quite a bit of cargo as I will be moving - would a single mattress maybe be a better option? I already have a single backpacking mattress that is 3 to 4 inches thick. Considering that with a stiff board under my torso(?). I'm finding two basic types one is 10" thick with a built in pump for around $100. The other is "4 thick with an external pump for around $70. These are both full size for two people that covers the entire back area if the Jeep. There is a cheap model where bith sides inflate separately. So you could use ine side as a single. And have the option of using the full width later.
