My '16 hardtop, doesn't have body side-connections for power/washer. I'm not interested in spending ~$250 for a harness plus 4ish+ hours to do entire tie in.

Looking for anyone with experience doing a simple power tie-in for defroster/wiper, I don't really need washer.

Anyone do this ?

Thanks.

I don't think there's any simple way to do it. Even if you install the wire harness kit, you'll still need to get your computer flashed for the kit to run properly. Honestly, I've never used my rear wiper, washer or defrost. I might delete it and plug the hole in the glass.

Wow, didn't know computer flash(stealer) needed on top of all that work.
I was thinking I could build my own separate circuit w/relays and stand-alone switches, etc.. I think I'll weigh the value of attempting this after hearing of your experience.
Thank you.
