Thinking that my shocks on my 2013 JKU are close to ready to be replaced. See pictures. Several people on the Forum have said good things about Bilstein 5100 shocks. Wondering if these look ready to be replaced. Thanks for any comments.

Hard to tell visually. Not hard to pull the bottom bolt or bounce the Jeep to test them.

What makes you think they're ready to be replaced? Is it the light rust that's starting or bad performance?
Usually when they are bad they will be wet on the bottom section from them leaking.
What's your tire situation? If you're just wanting to improve ride quality and upgrade the shocks when the originals are still okay, think about replacing them when you get new tires- it'll feel like night and day.
If your JK is riding rough maybe it's just to much air in the tires, most JK's you need to lower the pressure.
Light rust and handling over series of bumps on Mass poor roads.
Thanks. Good thoughts. Probably have another 15-20K left on the tires. Prior owners used as DD on hiways.

That just means they still have some oil inside. They're only really shot when they stop leaking.
