I don't know if they are in production yet (probably not), but saw this on Reddit today. Not really my taste, but some of you might like them.
Removable fender flares

Certainly not cheap (and not my style), but I could see how for some they would serve a purpose when wheeling.
A thought that I had, when running with the fender off, I feel like a lot of mud and rocks would get stuck in the groove and would make putting the fender back on a pain in the rear.
Yep! Those fender flares are there for a reason. When you take them off you're going to be kicking up crap everywhere, which is going to destroy your paint, and get mud and debris everywhere.
I personally don't really see the point in something like this, though some will argue that they want to take their fender flares off when they go through really tight trails.
