I have a 2012 Unlimited with an automatic tranny and 174000 miles. I have been having this transmission problem for months now. I took it to the dealership, they had it for 2 months and replaced the PCM. After spending a good amount of $$, I still have the problem. I will describe it as best as I can. When normal driving, specifically at low RPMs (2000) and it does not matter what gear I am in, when I steadily press the accelerator as if I am approaching a hill, etc, the transmission makes a hard booming sound and my Jeeps jolts at the same time followed by sluggishness. It does not downshift until I press down on the accelerator much harder or if I manually downshift. It is as if the transmission cannot decide what to do. It does this at least 50% of the time under these conditions. Regards: - Will
