My TOB just went out last night... on the way to our anniversary dinner. Good thing it got us home. I’m going to call my mechanic tomorrow, hopefully he’ll do it (he hates working on Chrysler/Dodge vehicles). Otherwise, I’ll have the dealer do it. I heard that the LUK TOB/TBs have plastic parts, is that true? If so, should I have my mechanic order a LUK clutch kit and a separate National TOB? He orders his parts from Carquest/Advance Auto or the dealer. Advance has the National in stock too. What do you think about getting the Carquest brand clutch? Looks the same as the LUK, just $50 less. I’d rather spend more for reliability though. Have you replaced your clutch yet, Jim? If so, what’d you end up getting? Flivver, how’s that National bearing going for you? Any noises so far?
