My 08 JKU went completely dark driving. I replaced the battery and terminals. The battery ended up dead so I had to jump start. The serpentine belt was jumping around. I took the alternator out and took it to be checked. It about broke their machine. The bearing was bad and would not turn.Put new alternator in and now no issues
