So, I ride a R1150GS and am sold on the Ram mount/s systems. All of them can be bought at reasonable prices too. SO I ordered some parts and within 45 mins ended up with this setup. The passenger side mount will also work on the driver side and attaches to the same location/s as the vector bar. Since I don't VLOG I had no need for the expense of that bar...though I really like it. All in all, I have about 40$ in this. I happen to have some "stand off" material that was in my tool box from working on air carrier aircraft. Drilled the grab handle with #7 bit and tapped with 1/4 X20. The passenger side stand off, same process but had to cut the head off a 1/4 X20 bolt.
