[QUOTE="BlueMetal, post: 457438, member: 24549"] Hello Jeep World. Long story short, I ended up with a blown engine on my 15’ JKU. I’ve always dreamt of a DYI hemi swap project and I think this is my chance to make it happen. A 5.7 hemi would do. While I know it can be costly, I need some guidance as to where to even start looking for an engine ? Do I look at a car junk yard ? Or buy a hemi swap engine kit online? Also, if you guys know of anyone who has done it before and can link me to a list of parts and prices for what they needed ? I currently have 35’s that I plan to keep and also will be adding a 2.5 in lift. Other than that i want to basically have everything I need at the lowest cost possible and not pay for extra parts that I don’t need to make the build possible. Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
