Hi all,
2012 JK 2 dr, replacing the factory soft top with a Quadratec. The instructions are clear as mud but I have it 90% on. The rear bow mount is different than the original and what is shown in the instructions. There where about 4 tabs that screwed on. That is what is also shown in the instructions. The new top has one sleeve all the way across. It doesn’t seem big enough diameter to thread the bar through. I’m stumped, any ideas?
Thanks!

Having just put a new top on my TJ and encountering various changes in how they are put together here in the future, my guess would be that that is not a sleeve but just the same doubling up of fabric. It is probably cheaper for them to sew a long piece of fabric on rather than worry about getting four of them aligned properly.

This is probably one of the last items to be attached, so I would close up the top, windows probably not necessary, and ensuring the center bar is in the right place and centered, mark on it where the holes in the bar are. If you can screw it in this way go ahead, but I'm guessing that you will have to disconnect the front at a minimum to get a tool in.
