Phone mounts recommendation and opinions

I actually have a similar version and think it’s a great mounting location. Away from everything but close enough to reach if needed….. I must have several phone mounts that have turned out to be trash but this one has held up nicely surprisingly…

Amazon listing says that it will fit NOT on the older JK (I have a 2009 which has a different grab bar and interior in general) but other places say, too include the "will it fit" thing at the top of the page say it works... stupid Amazon.

Do you know if the other part is shows is for the older jeeps and it will work for me?
