Everybody knows that later models have an oil pressure readout in the EVIC. If you’re in a 2012 or 2013, you don’t have this feature, so you’re kinda screwed when it comes to seeing your actual oil pressure. Especially so if you’re chasing down a P0520, P06DD, or P06DE.

I’ve been using this OBDII reader and am EXTREMELY happy with it. Another friend has the more expensive BlueDriver and we both strongly prefer the OBDLink CX. This may sound like a shill post….call it what you want, Chris knows me from the TJ forum, I’m only telling you this because I solved the oil pressure reading problem.

Anyhoo, for $14.99 you can buy an add on pack of over 4,000 new PIDs to monitor, including many related to oil pressure. I’ve included a small sampling of what’s available & my current dashboard which includes the oil pressure reading on my 2012 JKU.
