Hey Tom, did you already do these things? I'm having a hard time reading replies so pardon me if this is a repeat:
To reset the change oil light on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, follow these steps:
- Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine. This is usually the second position in the ignition sequence.
- Press the gas pedal three times. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds.
- Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position. Once you've pressed the gas pedal three times, turn the ignition off completely.
- Start the engine. Turn the ignition back on and start the engine to check if the oil change light has been reset.
If the light is still on, you may need to repeat the process. Make sure you are pressing the accelerator pedal fully and within the required time frame. If it still doesn't reset, there might be an issue with the vehicle's computer system, and you may need to consult a mechanic.
