Just recently upgraded from a ‘98 TJ to a ‘13 JKU. Is it normal to see a big difference in the oil level when checking it after sitting overnight versus after it being driven? I know it’s burning some oil but I can check it after I have been driving it and the dip stick is dry but the next morning it will show about halfway between the add and full range.

I always check my oil cold. The dipstick measures the oil level in the pan, and the pan is at its fullest when the oil has found its way back down to the pan.

Now, about those Moto Metal 962's.... fair warning. I take the axle caps off myself before I take it in for a tire rotation. Tire shop guys will take their pneumatic wrench with the allen bit and break half the plastic fakes on the cap, lost the real bolts and not line up the caps with the threaded holes.
Just relating my experience over the past 10 years...

And it's time to wrap those nice wheels in some 35s...
