Notch in ProComp LED headlight pattern

I just installed ProComp headlights on my 2015 JKU. When aiming them tonight, I noticed a "notch in the pattern on the left hand side. There is a noticeable step down in the pattern on the left and it is present in both headlights. Has anyone else seen this phenomenon? Also, there is a noticable band of purple light at the edges of the beam - very noticeable along the top.

I believe the step is part of the beam pattern. It has to do with not blinding other drivers.
 
As others have stated. That looks normal to me. I believe you are supposed to use the notch in aiming your headlights properly.
