Need some insight guys, if you would please. Just re-geared from 3.21 to 4.88. Went for a test drive and can feel the extra power already, feels great, however....

my battery had died as it sat for a couple of weeks while I was out of town on business. Finished the re-gear yesterday. When we jumped the battery, saw that the engine lights was on for the first time ever. Checked the codes and it did not register anything. Got in it this morning and it would not shift. I was running 7-8k RPM's at 35 mph. Turned around and parked it.

A buddy of mine said I may have gotten a "hiccup" when it died and that I should reset the computer. I have never had any kind of issue with my rig in the past year I have owned it. thoughts before I spend god knows how much at a mechanic?

I am driving a 2013 JK Sport 2 door.

If you did a regear you need to recalibrate your speedometer so that your transmission will shift properly. Same goes when you put a taller tire on.

You'll need to get a Programmer or JScan to do your recalibration.
