Has anyone had any problems with noises in the rear after a body lift was installed?

My jk is making noises in the rear every time I hit a small bump, it sounds like a rubbing noise and may be metal rubbing. The shop told me it could be the rear door because the tires was sitting on the stock bumber before the body lift. I dont think its the door because its not making any noises when opening/closing. I do hear noises on the bumper when I push down on it. I dont want to buy a new bumber or a rear door if that's not the problem.

I have 3 teraflex lift, and recently added a 1.25 rough country body lift running on 35,

Thanks for any input!!

I had the shop do the work, he did the visual check and retightened the screws from the rear two pucks. I did notice today the noise was coming from one of the pucks when I went under the jeep and pushed the body up. the middle large screw where the washer has a very small gap compared to a jl.
Not sure if something is off with the gap or I think there is a rubber piece between the large washer and maybe worn out or the big bolt itself is worn out, the kit does not come ith the bolt.

I went to the muffler shop today to remount the muffler, one of the tail pipes was uneven and hitting the screw from the bumper and thought that was making the noise.

I was told from another shop that you have to retightened all the screws after the install.

The body lift was done less than a week ago.

I would definitely check the bolt torque specs for sure. If they are poly mounts, I suppose it's possible that they could add some noise since poly does transfer NVH much more than rubber.

The noise is coming from the bumper or around that area, the noise is more noticeable when the rear door is open. When you push down on the bumper you will hear the squeky noise, it seems to get more noisier and the back seems bumpier today while driving. I will check out the torque specs and see if that helps.

Today, Im also getting a raspy noise when I hit the gas. I was at the muffler shop yesterday for an exhaust remount to aligned the tail pipes, screws need to be retightened . its noise week for some reason.

The noise is gone after re torque and put some grease. Grease always work for those annoying rubbing noises.

I might depart my baby Kakayle Jk soon, and get the JL Rubicon.

I dont want to depart and would rather keep both jk and jl. The JL handling was awesome compared to the JK. I offered my jk to my brother and he wants to buy it. Deep in me I dont want to get rid of it and have both the jk and jl world.

I'd take another look at these after a few weeks of driving. If the noise went away after the torque was checked, there's a possibility the previous over-tightening could have compromised the washer or the poly.

I just retightened a little, not too much or else the pucks might get damaged. I went for a drive after it was tightened, it was making a lil noise in the beginning but its mostly gone now, i guess the grease was slowly working its way.

Noise is back after two trips and I put more grease on the two pucks and pretty much sprayed the top and bottom and noise is gone. Will see how it goes and if the noise persist. I probably will go to the service dept at local jeep dealer for a another opinion or a body shop. i called rough country and i was first person they spoke to with this problem and they would call me back.

Sorry if I sound ignorant but I'm new to the Jeep scene.
Is the 1.25 body lift kit the biggest we can go without any modifications?
Pro and cons?

i think for aesthetic , you are better off with 1.25 body lift . the gap is not noticeable. if you go higher it will have a big ugly gap. the noise i have is not too obvious. i bought a jl rubicon added 4 inch suspension lift 37 tires .very happpy .i put a lighting bar and it makes noises so it doesnt matter because i bought a sub and its nice and loud with the bass. i have two jeeps now.
