Shopping for a jk. Sold my YJ a couple years back. I did a v8 swap and dana 60, 14bolt axles. 37" tires. Got rid of it because not enough room for the wife and 3 kids. JK wont go that extreme.... well.... not at first

Yep, the JK Unlimited models have a considerable amount of room. Hell, even the 2-door JK has a significant more amount of room than my TJ!
Anyways, welcome to the forum. The JK will be a nice upgrade from your YJ in every department other than DIY maintenance and ease of working on. That's the downfall with the JK
