Just purchased a 2009 2 door for my son’s 16th. Long time CJ owner.
One if the things i did to improve the Jeep was replacing the original soft top which was in bad shape. I kept the original bows and hardware and just replaced the canvas and windows with the Smitybuilt top. Went on great, let it sit in the hot sun prior to install.
My question is now the front header will not properly lay down against the top of the winshield/gasket. It’s making a very load roar above 50mph. How can i get it to seal like the old one? (It sealed tight/fine).
