Hi all -
Weird power window problem. My daughters 2012 JKU Sport is having an issue I haven't seen before. All four windows had been rolled down. She tried bringing them up and they wouldn't. She said she "just started messing with the buttons' and finally got the rear ones to come up. The front ones are now are acting weirdly. As it stands now, the driver side is up and the passenger side is down. Raising the passenger side will lower the drivers side and raise the passenger side (and vice versa). I've heard that when one door closes, another opens, but this is ridiculous. It sounds to me like a controller board - does the switch panel have a controller? From what I've read, the I haven't had it out and I don't want to dig too far in until I have an idea of what's going on. I don't have a FSM for this one (or my current one in fact). Tomorrow I'll pull out the switch and maybe spray some contact cleaner in there and reseat.
Thoughts anyone? Most posts I've seen regarding power window issues seem to get the advice "cycle power". Well, this time it isn't working
TIA,
Jerry
