Is there any change when you turn on the lights?
The first and easiest thing to do is to change out the lightbulb. This is probably not the problem, but it's a quick check. You could even switch bulbs between the sides.
My guess however is that there is a problem with your multifunction switch. (Left side of steering column, the thing you actuate to turn the blinkers on) It' not a difficult replacement, but I would eliminate other things first. The part is around $80 ish, I think.

it has fixed itself then the radio quit working and it is working now too, thanks for your insights
Clock spring issues only effect things that are on the rotating part of the steering wheel. The multifunction switch is on the steering column, though my mind instantly goes to that anytime in the area is broke and I have to remind myself.
The same "got rained on" can effect the MF switch as well, though because it's more exposed I would guess it tends to dry before failing like the clock spring does.
