Was parked by work and a truck swiped my drivers side. Mirror bracket is cracked at the bottom. Mirror and housing above the pivot are otherwise ok. Started looking into kits to relocate the mirrors since I frequently ride doors off and the in-hinge mirrors I got shake so much they’re useless. I was going to buy the Quadratec kit that comes with new mirrors, but some of the reviews talk about the one thing that would irritate me most…shaking at highway speeds. I’d like to keep the factory mirrors and just get relocation brackets to move to the a pillar, but I have power/heated mirrors. Anyone have any experience with relocation brackets that work with power/heated mirrors?

Quadratec has a set of mirrors that are very similar to the factory heads, with arms that pivot very differently.
They are heated and allow for the mirror to remain in the stock position either with or without the doors on.
They are expensive, but not having to swap mirrors and retaining the heated feature and electric adjustment both seem like positives.

I saw those. Do you have any experience with them? Those are the ones where the review said they shake at highway speeds. I am going to read more reviews now.

Are these the ones you are referencing?

I’ve not seen them in real life, but they are on my wish list for after I have an unexpected financial windfall.
