Hey everyone, I have a 2016 jku and I have lost power twice after hitting a bump going highway speeds. I have already replaced cps sensor and the jeep picks right back up where I was in regards to speed. Any ideas what it could be?

Could be the underhood insulation being sucked over the air intake, has been a common issue on the 2014's for some reason.

G'day BLACKJKU and THANKYOU!!!!!! Should've looked here WAY before now. My 2014 JKU had the exact same problem flatlining at 2000-2400 rpm. Strange thing was if I popped the clutch in at any speed in any gear it would redline without any problems but as soon as I got off the clutch again it would choke back to 2000-2400 rpm. Anyway, across the pond here in Oz nobody could give me the solution to my problem. Even a highly recommended (non dealer) Jeep specialist couldn't explain the fault and there was no Error Code coming up on the diagnostic read but now I realise that the bonnet was up when this was being done so the hood lining was not being sucked into the intake to recreate the faulty airflow. I checked here after a 'lightbulb' moment thinking, there's probably a couple of million more Jeep owners in the states with a WHOLE lot more fault data than here in the Great Southern Land. So, a simple removal of about 20 square inches of hood lining above the intake and I'm redlining right up through the power curve in every gear. You little beauty!! Look me up if you ever get to Brisbane. I'll have a Reef & Beef BBQ ready for you. Thanks again Mate. Cheers, ScottyT.......... Btw- Lets Go Brandon!!
