My Wrangler 2007 jk two door got its rear seat stolen a while back and I've been looking for a replacement. I found a 2008 4 door third seat for sale and was curious if they are compatible or can be modified to fit. What would be my best option?

I don't know for sure but if it's a 3rd seat in a 4door Jeep it will have to sit in the back section the same as if it was in a 2 door Jeep. So I think it will fit but not sire if it will bolt to the existing brackets.
I've never seen a 3rd seat option in a 4 door so it could very well be a 2 door seat that someone made it work in the rear.

I just want to know how in the hell you steal a rear seat. I take mine out and its not the lightest thing ever. Those are some determined thieves.
Idk man I had the top and doors off and the seat was just gone. And it was a quick release no bolts.
Wow. Would have never thought someone would steal the rear seat. I’m going to check into running a chain with a lock to a roll bar or something. Back to your post I do not think the 4 door seat will fit.
That's what I'm trying to find out. If they're quick release it might work for my use and they are placed in a similar location to the 2 door.

See that's why I think it might work! It has very similar hook ups to the 2 door. They modified the 4 door to match the 2 door to fit. Guess I'll just have to get measurements and try.
