Jeep noob and new member

I have wanted a 2 door wrangler for about 20 years. Time and money constraints have kept me from the dream. Well last month I woke up ,found a used 2008 2dr Sahara and bought it. Still learning but having the time of my life! Thanks for having me here.

The 1st thing I did was put some Falken Rubitrek ATs on it. No research just liked the look. Are they good tires ?

My JK came with a set of Falkem wildpeak at3w tires and I have a coworker with them in his tacoma. The at3w has so far surprised both of us with how well it does offroad for an at tire that is that is so pleasant on road. I believe your rubitrek tires are quite similar to them so I think you did pretty well.

Missing my JK right now. Took it in to get the hood painted. Some nicks and swirl marks mostly but They were driving me batshit. One tiny spot of rust by the drivers side hood latch was the clincher .

Yeah. I hate rust. Will not let it take hold. Some nicks here and there , { it’s a Jeep } but will probably get a new paint job next spring.

Took my boy on his first doorless Jeep ride today . He kept saying this is amazing over and over. Lol. Just might have to go again tomorrow .
